Do
you take paint cans?
Yes we do. However they must be empty, completely dried
out with the lids off.
How
do I start or stop my service?
Please call our office during our normal working hours
at (360) 332-5443 to make arrangements.
What
items do you not take?
Antifreeze, Batteries, Aerosol Spray Products, Fluorescent
light Fixtures, Household Cleaning Products, Pesticides
or herbicides, paints, thinners, or solvents, fertilizers
or poisons. To discard of these items, please contact
Hazardous Waste Disposal at (360) 380-4640.
Do
you have appliance or large item pickups?
Yes. Additional charges vary. These special collections
must be scheduled in advance with Blaine Bay Refuse
by the occupant or resident before moving any bulky
household goods to your curbside.
How
much is an extra 30 gallon bag?
Each extra bag is $3.40.
Do
you pick up car batteries?
Yes, as long as they are not leaking. We DO NOT take
cell phone batteries. You can also take your car batteries,
cell phone batteries to our transfer station at RDS

Where
can I dispose my old propane tanks?
We do not dispose of propane tanks. These can be taken
to Hazardous Waste Disposal in Bellingham. They can
be reached at (360) 380-4640.
Need
your red, white and blue recycling bins?
Your recycling bins belongs to your current home. If
your are moving, please leave your bins behind for the
new owners or tenants of the residence! If your new
home is bin-less when you arrive, please call Blaine
Bay Refuse office at (360) 332-5443, Monday through
Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
What
does it cost to have my trash collected and how is it
billed?
Blaine Bay Refuse bills for the residential trash disposal
and recycling on a quarterly basis. The costs vary for
